Weight

Rugged and durable whilst remaining incredibly light, the Hoozar Cruz 12 Hot Red balance bike weighs 3.2kg. It is easy to manoeuvre, propel and steer, and light enough to pick up and carry along if little legs get tired.

Tyres

All Hot Red balance bikes have 12" air filled tyres with aluminium rims and sealed bearing hubs. They are made for all terrains including off road adventures.

Brake

It has a rear V-brake with a brake lever that is scaled for hands 18 months or older. A balance bike with a brake becomes particularly important when travelling over rough terrain or along inclines where dragging your feet won't slow the bike much.

Footrest

The Cruz 12 Hot Red balance bike allows kids to position their feet on the footrest so they can glide along safely for longer periods. The footrest allows for an easier transition to a pedal bike as kids understand the positioning of their feet.

Handlebars

The Cruz 12 Hot Red balance bike has a height specific long handlebar equipped with comfortable grips as well as a rubber steering limiter to prevent accidents caused by a quick "folding over" of the steering at speed.

Seat

All Hoozar balance bikes offer a quick release seat clamp and a large range of seat adjustments. The standover height of the Hot Red balance bike is exceptionally low and the well cushioned scooped seat has been ergonomically designed to fit children's pelvis and propel them forward.

The limiter restricts the turning to 20-30 degrees in each direction. This prevents a child from over turning the handlebars and causing a jack knife situation.

Spent a lot of time with my kids and others on bikes. Having rests for feet is really important and helped my kids improve quickly. Brakes are important too for obvious reasons; this bike has both and the only one of decent quality I can find. Great piece of kit!! 👌

Very cool and well made bike, should have bought 2!

Bought bike for daughters 2nd birthday. She loves it, but is having to fight off her 4 year old brother who’s decided it’s even better than his. I think we’re going to have to buy another.. Bike was delivered in a few days and ordering process was painless. Bike is well thought out, built and quite amazingly lightweight. Great for the kids and also adults inevitably carrying it. Wouldn’t consider a bike without a brake. I know they don’t use them initially but our eldest started out with a balance bike with one and it gave him the chance to learn as he got more confident. The big chunky tires are awesome, look like they give loads of confidence and are still really light. One thing that would be nice to see is a mudguard option, kids love puddles and keeping the worst of the muck off with some lightweight fenders is a bonus. I’ve added a pair from a rival brand to our bike. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Truly Fantastic

This is a fantastic product and is really good value considering it has a brake. It comes ready assembled, you just need to tighten the bolts (which is really easy) on the steering stem. The colours are great and my children are delighted. Thank you Hoozar Bikes.
